I have never considered myself a thin person. I like to consider
myself as a big boned
person as opposed to being plain fat. I try to watch what I am
eating as the effects can be devastating.
But the environment you’re in plays a big part of on you.
For example: everyone here in the US seems to be concerned with…
sugar. Sugar? Yes, sugar.
From bread, meat (ever heard of meat with honey?), yogurt, milk,
cereals, ketchup, everything is pumped up with sugar over here.
What the …?
Turns out that the people over here are literally in the middle of
a sugar rush. Isn’t that just wonderful? Not as wonderful as the
fact that your average Joe consumes about 1-1,5 kg of sugar
PER WEEK.
As I start to count the number of diseases that can be induced by
obesity I start to wonder why this is happening and slowly start to
feint.
The thing that really made me mad was descovering the
sugar amount in a glass of
“low fat” milk. It’s not more or less than 11 GRAMS. I though
it was kinda funny how the sweet the milk is as I was enjoying a
glass of milk before bed but was horrified to read the label.
Somebody is going to stop drinking milk [at least this brand for
sure].
You can find a list of all the good effects of sugar
here.
My favorites:
Sugar can cause premature aging.
Sugar can increase cholesterol.
Sugar can cause depression.
Sugar can cause hemorrhoids.
