Tough economic times make people do crazy stuff.
Here is a guy that went from being a CEO to being a pizza man:

Must be tough going from making hundreds of thousand of dollars per
year to delivering pizza.
What I didn’t get is why they haven’t payed the mortgage in 2 years
and why having 100.000$ in credit card debt. I wouldn’t put the
whole situation on just the economic situation but also on greed
and stupidity.
Another case, this time a woman who choose to work as a stripper
when the economy kicked in:

Greatest challanges of the job: learning to dance in five-inch
heels and developing a thick skin to be able to handle the verbal
abuse from the patrons.
Advantages of the job: it’s well paid and secure… at least until
you become a wreck and nobody wants to pay to see you naked.
So, in though economic times you’re supposed to find a gig to just
pay the bills. Doesn’t matter what you do. Problem is that if
everyone took that path the question is:
Who would do the “real” jobs that earn the cash that go into these
gigs?
