One of the things you learn while young, is basic math. It helps
you know what the change should be at the store when you’re buying
something. It can also come in handy in many situations.
For example: the train leaves at 12:30. I want to eat before
leaving. It usually takes me 10 minutes to grab a bite at your
favourite fast food place. Also the ride to the train station takes
20 minutes. It’s now 12:05. Do I have time to grab a bite?
Well, it seems that here in the US, basic math is not mandatory.

In case you’re wondering, who the fu…gde is Patricia Heaton:

So there you have it. Proof that in the US you can be semi-famous
and suck at math.
* For the semi-famous people checking this, the answer is no.
